In the morning when you open your eyes, I'll be writing poetry. I am not paid for poetry. Still, I rise early every day to write about life and nature, whether important or insignificant. Before children are walking to the bus stop, I am already ranting against the injustices of the world. Poetry helps me think about the current state of affairs; helps me consider and analyze the underlying causes of the latest news stories. Sometimes my examination will lead to insight. Sometimes it will not. However, it will lead me to writing and breaking the lines as a poet should.
